The software is offered with either the Crystal Reports © or the Reportsmith © report viewer. Either is a good choice. The installer will prompt for report tool selection.
The demo can be evaluated using the file or the client server versions of Loan Manager Plus. The client server version features the Firebird ® database server in either windows 32 or 64 bit versions. With additional installers, the client server database can also be configured to run on linux and several flavors of unix over a network. Additional information about Firebird and supported platforms can be found at http://www.firebirdsql.org.
To evaluate the the software using Firebird, two additional setup programs need to be downloaded from our site and installed. A link below to the two additional installers is outlined. Other than installing the Firebird server software and it's ODBC driver, no additional configuration is required to run the client server version out of the box on a local windows machine. Prior to logging into loan manager plus, select the menu option Default->Database->Type to select either Access or Firebird.
The file server version is the default database configuration so the demo will function even if the client server software is not installed.
